Lovelyloot’s Holiday Gift Guides: Fabulous Finds to Get or Give

Lovelyloot's Holiday Gift Guides: Fabulous Finds to Get or Give

One of the best pieces of advice I can share about giving gifts to other people is to choose things you’d love to receive yourself…so that’s exactly what’s featured in this holiday gift guide!

Personally, I think skincare and haircare products are harder to give as gifts because everyone needs something different for their skin/hair type. Makeup and body products, however, are perfect for almost anyone! These are all fantastic gift ideas for anyone in your life who loves beauty…including yourself 😉

Charlotte Tilbury: Charlotte’s Beauty Icons Gift Set

Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte's Beauty Icons Gift Set

Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favorite brands and this set ($75) gives you several of her best-selling products. You get a mini Magic Cream, mini Wonderglow luminous primer, mini Full Fat Lashes mascara, mini K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick in Penelope Pink, and a full-size Lip Cheat Pencil in Pillow Talk (my favorite of the lot!).

Drybar Buttercup Fully Loaded Set

Drybar Buttercup Fully Loaded Set

Yes, this Drybar set is expensive ($199)…but it’s totally worth it. I fell in love with the Buttercup blow dryer after using it during a hotel stay in New Orleans. Months later when my old dryer died, I cashed in my rewards to get this one during an Ulta sale. Here’s the thing – the dryer itself is the same price as this entire set, so you’re essentially getting a brush, hair clips, shampoo, conditioner, and four styling products for free. If you need a new blow dryer, I highly recommend this one!

ColourPop All I See Is Magic Pressed Powder Shadow Palette

ColourPop All I See Is Magic Pressed Powder Shadow Palette

This palette ($20) would be perfect to use during the holidays…or any party occasion for that matter! It has 15 matte, satin and metallic shades that can be applied wet or dry. Since Sephora started carrying ColourPop, this is available online and in select Sephora stores, in addition to ColourPop’s website. I got this during the Cyber Monday sale and am still trying to decide whether to keep it for myself or use it as a gift…

Lano All Over Everywhere Multi-Cream

Lano All Over Everywhere Multi-Cream

I first heard about this product ($17) on the Fat Mascara podcast, which definitely piqued my interest. It can be used in a ton of different ways – day, night, face, body, hands, even for babies! During the winter months, when it can be especially cold and your skin often dry, this would definitely be a gift appreciated by anyone. You can find this at Ulta or on Net-A-Porter.

Sonia Kashuk Cosmetic Bag Always Organized

Sonia Kashuk Cosmetic Bag Always Organized

I am currently in desperate need of a new travel bag for all my cosmetics and skincare products, so would be overjoyed to receive this myself. These bags ($19) are consistently available from Target, with new prints and fabrics every season, so I’d recommend seeing what’s available to get a pattern you love. They’re a really nice size, include clear compartments to see all your products and even have a place to hold your brushes.

Dose of Colors Hidden Treasure Palette

Dose Of Colors Hidden Treasure Palette

This is a new palette from Dose of Colors ($50) that’s gotten rave reviews from some of my favorite YouTube beauty vloggers. The ten shades are a great mix of metallic, matte and shimmer shadows, making it easy to do a complete look. When I get palettes there are usually a couple shades that I would never use, but all of these just look so pretty!

Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Nourishing Dry Body Oil

Kiehl's Since 1851 Creme de Corps Nourishing Dry Body Oil

Kiehl’s is such a classic brand, which makes it perfect for gift giving. While their Creme de Corps body lotion is super well-known, this dry body oil ($17.50) would be my pick. I prefer body oils over lotions just because they sink into the skin so much faster, but one other thing I really appreciate about this product is the packaging. It has a spray nozzle which allows you to mist it on vs. pouring oil into your hands and trying to transfer it to your body without creating a gigantic mess. Genius.

Maybelline Gigi Hadid Jetsetter Palette

Maybelline Gigi Hadid Jetsetter Palette

This limited edition palette ($30) is only available at Ulta, and I’ve heard great reviews about it. Yes, the brushes (as with almost any palette) are pretty worthless, but having 2 concealers, 2 lip balms, 4 eyeshadows, 1 blush, 1 bronzer, and 1 highlighter all in one palette is amazingly convenient, especially for travel. If you wanted to add something more from the Gigi x Maybelline collab, the West Coast Glow Matte Lipstick ($9) in Austyn would be my pick!

Origins Post Workout Paradise Warm Down Warming Lava Scrub

Origins Post Workout Paradise Warm Down Warming Lava Scrub

I do have quite a few friends who aren’t as makeup obsessed as I am, and this would be a great gift for them – especially since so many of them are athletes. This scrub ($35) heats up upon contact with water to relax your muscles while detoxifying and exfoliating. It was also a CEW 2017 Beauty Insider award winner…meaning it’s a beauty industry favorite!

Elemis Frangipani Treasures Collection

Elemis Frangipani Treasures Collection

Years ago I received a gift set similar to this one from Elemis, Britain’s #1 luxury skincare brand, and fell in love with their frangipani monoi scent. This gift set ($137) contains shower cream, body oil (divine!), body cream, hand/nail cream, and an exclusive candle. It’s definitely a luxurious gift, meant for someone you love.

Did these gift ideas inspire you? Which one would you like to give (or get!) the most?

My skin tends to be dry even here in tropical Florida, so the misting Kiehl’s nourishing dry body oil is especially intriguing to me. I’ll also be checking out the Sonia Kashuk cosmetic bags at Target for keeping everything organized when I travel. Thanks for the fabulous ideas!

I think you’d love both of those – if you try them, let me know what you think!
